Have You SEEN This House - and a fun give away!!

Hello to All!  Hope Everyone's weekend was lovely.  Mine was nice and relaxing with a little treasure hunting, and a LOT of football!!  It did get a little warm for me considering it is October, but I can get over that!

First some big news!  My friend Kathie from A Few Good Pieces is doing a fabulous give away.  One lucky person will win a $50 credit in my vintage home decor shop on Etsy, PLUS a $50 VISA gift card.  A big welcome to you all who are visiting from A Few Good Pieces.  For everyone else, go check out Kathie's blog to get the details on the giveaway and see what wonderful things she does with used furniture!!  It's all gorgeous, and a great way to be green!!

Back in May the fam and I took a vacation at Rosemary Beach in Florida.  Have you been there?  It is my new favorite place, and I DREAM of one day owning a house there.  While there I visited a shop on Main Street called Tracery Interiors.  WOW!  I had already decided I wanted a beach house, and now I knew what I was going to fill it with!  After drooling all over their lovely things, I came home and became a follower of all that is Tracery.  In addition to their shop in Rosemary, Tracery also has a super successful interior design business.  As they describe best on their website:
"Tracery Interiors is known for creating interiors that are a mix of old and new, combining antiques with one-of-a-kind pieces that are complimented with clean modern upholstery and accents."
This house at Lake Martin in Alabama is absolute perfection.  Take a look at this kitchen.

Look at the gorgeous dining area!!  I love how the chandelier is hung using the bracket.

Gorgeous, right?!?  To see more of Tracery's work you can check out their blog here, or become a fan on Facebook.  Oh, they also just announced that they will open a Birmingham store too!!

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!
~Becky

This house is awesome. It's the perfect example how to "not do color". People do neutrals wrong a lot too, lol

  10. Hi! I'm visiting from "a few good pieces"! I have just recently been discovering my "style", or lack thereof. :-) The pictures of the house are beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen such modern pieces mixed with vintage like that...very cool.

Stephanie - that's one of my favorite things about Tracery is the fact that they do a beautiful job of mixing modern with vintage!
